If you have a dream to move into a different job, industry or specialty, it's possible. My collection of Inspo and finds that helped me make a switch to the work I love.
In midlife, we’ve lived a little, experienced a few wins and losses, and are getting less attached to always being right.
We've created 5 simple statements to serve as a reminder to be generous, loving, and curious, not just towards others, but also towards ourselves.
First Agreement
Privacy is Sacred.
I will protect the privacy of other members.
If it’s not your identity, and if it’s not public content, it’s not yours to share.
The path to Wellness for you — and others includes respect and protection of each other’s privacy.
Second Agreement
Civility is essential.
I will be civil.
Civility is not about correctness or ignoring our differences. Civility doesn’t require that we respect, like, or even agree with each other.
It simply asks that we treat each other with decency. Through civility, we truly begin to crush what is blocking our path to our best self.
Third Agreement
Everyone is doing their best.
I will do the best I know how to do.
Here you’ll find different viewpoints — some will bring aha’s, other ideas might be a little too out there for you.
Everyone is doing the best they can. And while sometimes it’s easier to try and change others, we invite you to focus on what works best for you- for your own wellness.
Fourth Agreement
Everyone’s experience is different.
I will trust my own experience.
Everyone’s journey to wellness is different.
Pause regularly. See what works and doesn’t. Throughout all the advice we gather and are given, your personal experience is your most reliable guide toward wellness that truly fits your life.
Fifth Agreement
Anyone who follows our agreements is welcome.
Daughters, sons, sisters, brothers, parents, friends, relations, sinners, saints, working or not, 30’s to 100, whether you walk, drive a limo or ride in the back... elementary school to PhD, your sanctuary and personal wisdom are valued here as we seek wellness together.
Play by our rules and you’re welcome. Break them and you will be asked to leave.
Take a breath.
Savor the time you’re taking for your midlife wellness.
